Could we have extra bed(s)/ cot(s) in the room ?

This depends on the hotel, to find out if your chosen hotel can offer this service please look under the "Facilities" tab on your chosen hotel, if this service is available you need to enter your request under the "Special Requests" section when completing the booking, as these are requests these cannot be guaranteed by the hotel and we advise you contact the hotel after making the booking to confirm they can offer these extra´s


What is "Standard Rate" & "Advance Purchase" ?

"Standard Rate" usually means that there is no deposit required and you can usually cancel free of charge as long as you observe the hotels cancellation policy. "Advance Purchase" rates are usually special offers and lower than "Standard Rates" but carry more restrictions such as they are non-cancellable and non-refundable


What´s included in the price I pay ?

Included in your price is the cost of the room and all applicable taxes

Are prices per person or per room ?

All prices are per room for the duration of your stay

Do prices include breakfast ?

Generally prices don´t included breakfast which is payable as a supplement at the hotel, however please check the room type you are booking as some hotels do include breakfast

Are there any booking fee´s ?

Definitely not, the price you see is the price you pay, Bedbooker.com NEVER charge a booking fee

Do I pay extra for children in the room ?

If you are booking a room with children, the price you see is the price you pay including the children, if you request extra cots and or beds in the room there may be a fee to pay directly at the hotel, you should confirm this directly with the hotel after making the booking.

Why do I need to give my card details to make a booking ?

Most hotels require a credit/ debit card to secure your booking, this is a standard practise within the hotel industry and in most cases the hotel will not charge your card unless you have booked an "Advance Purchase" rate or have cancelled outside of their cancellation policy


My card has been charged - Why is this ?

This may be as you have booked an "Advance purchase" room which are usually better value but often require you to prepay your booking or pay a deposit, you will have been informed of this when making your booking and in your confirmation email

Can I book using someone else´s card ?

Yes you can, however it is very important that you have permission to use the card from the owner

What type of cards can I book with ?

Most hotels accept a variety of cards, the specific card types a hotel accepts are shown on the hotel policies page

Are my card details safe ?

YES, we use the latest SSL (Secure socket layer) technology to encrypt your card details, once these have been passed to the hotel to guarantee your booking we automatically delete these details for your security


When do I have to pay for the room(s) ?

Usually you pay for your booking upon arrival or departure at the hotel, however if you have booked one of our great "Advance Purchase" rooms then you may be required to pay a deposit or the full cost at the time of booking

Can I use a different card to pay at the hotel ?

Yes you can pay at the hotel by any means that they accept i.e. Cash or another card type etc.

Do you charge a credit card fee ?

Bedbooker.com never take payment from your card, if the hotel charge a card fee this will be shown under the hotel policies section of the accommodation


Do I need to pay a deposit ?

This depends on the hotel and the type of rate you choose, by clicking on the chosen rate will display whether a deposit or full payment is required if at all

Can I get a VAT receipt for my booking ?

If the hotel is registered for VAT, this can be obtained directly from the hotel

Do prices include all applicable taxes ?

Yes all our rates include all applicable taxes


Can I add "Special Requests" to my room(s) ?

Yes you can add special requests to each room before you confirm your booking, however please note that as these are requests they cannot be guaranteed and we suggest that you confirm them directly with the hotel after making your booking


Can I book a hotel for someone else ?

Yes you can, please ensure that you clearly state the guests name on the room and not your own, and ensure that the correct name displayed on the credit/ debit card is entered on the booking page


Can I check in before or after the stated times ?

Sometimes this is possible but you would need to arrange this directly with the hotel, hotel contact details will be on your confirmation email or in the My Bookings area of your account

What times can I check in/ out ?

Check in and check out times are shown under the hotel policies section

Where do I find the room facilities ?

Room facilities can be viewed by clicking on the room type/name at your chosen hotel

Can I pre-book a "Late-Checkout" ?

This may be possible, to arrange this you will need to speak to your hotel direct once your booking is made, hotel contact details will be on your confirmation email


Can I book a "Smoking" room ?

Please check under the hotel policies to see if the hotel has smoking rooms, if they do they will be displayed in our LIVE availability if they are available, if not please add a note in the rooms special requests on the booking page, however this cannot be guaranteed by the hotel

Can I take my pet to the hotel ?

Sometimes this is possible however this would have to be arranged directly with the hotel after making a booking, hotel contact details will be on your confirmation email

What age is classed as a child ?

This is determined by the hotel and is shown under the hotel policies section


How do I know my booking is confirmed ?

Once you enter all the details on the booking page and click Make Booking once your booking is confirmed this will be displayed on screen and you will be sent a confirmation email, then just sit back and relax and arrive at your hotel on your chosen date, that´s it


I haven´t received my booking confirmation, how do I retrieve it ?

If you haven´t received your booking confirmation you can easily retrieve it by going to the My Bookings link on Bedbooker.com and entering a few details, you can then email the confirmation again


Can I modify or cancel my booking online ?

Yes, please follow the link in your confirmation email to do this or login to the My Bookings area of the website, in some cases if the hotel has a specific cancellation policy it may not be possible to cancel online, if this is the case please call 08456 899825 to cancel

Is there a cancellation fee if I cancel ?

There maybe a cancellation fee if you are cancelling inside the hotels cancellation policy or if you have booked an Advance Purchase rate, please see your confirmation email for details of the hotels policy or refer to the hotels page on Bedbooker.com

Where can I find the hotels cancellation policy ?

The hotel cancellation policy is displayed under the Hotel Policies section of your chosen hotel


How do I know my booking is cancelled ?

Once you have cancelled your booking this will be confirmed on screen and you will be sent a cancellation email, cancelled bookings can also be viewed under the My Bookings section of the website

Will the price change if I modify my booking ?

It may do, you will be advised of any increase or decrease on screen before you confirm any changes


Where can I see a list of the hotel facilities ?

Please click on the Facilities tab on your chosen hotel

Where do I get directions to the hotel from ?

Direction are displayed on the Map & Directions tab and are also sent on your confirmation email


Where do I obtain the hotel contact details from ?

All hotel contact details are displayed on your booking confirmation email and can also be viewed in the My Bookings section of the website

Is parking available at my hotel ?

Parking is available at most hotels, to check your specific hotel please take a look at the Facilities tab at your chosen hotel for information


Can I leave a guest review after my stay ?

Yes you can and we´d be delighted if you do so to help improve the experience of other guests, once your stay has finished we will email you a link and ask you to leave a review if you wish to do so, you can also leave reviews via the My Reviews section of your Bedbooker.com account

Do you modify my review once submitted ?

All reviews are checked to ensure that they are suitable for publication on Bedbooker.com, in a small number of cases we may edit the review to ensure it meets our publication criteria however we will NOT deviate from the points of your review


Do you publish my personal details with my review ?

  • Our site provides an online market place for accommodation providers (Providers) and we are not arranging or assembling your travel or tour arrangements.


  • Our site provides an online booking service for the Providers of accommodation and enables you to enter into direct contractual relations with the Providers.
  • All information provided on our site relating to the accomodation advertised including but without limitation prices, accommodation details, availability, directions, descriptions and any other information has been placed on the site by the Providers and is the sole responsibility of the Providers. In displaying this information we are not giving you any advice or recommendations regarding the accommodation and we are not liable for any errors or inaccuracies in the information displayed on our site.
  • The prices displayed on our site are on a "per room" basis and include all taxes and any VAT at the then current rate.
  • We provide a Cash Back Scheme and a Referrals Reward Scheme.


  • By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
    • you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
    • you are at least 18 years old; and
    • all personal information provided by you during a booking is accurate and correct; and
    • you accept full responsibility for all financial transactions made on our site under your name or on your behalf; and
    • you accept these conditions.
  • We reserve the right to immediately cancel your booking without any refund or compensation becoming payable to you, if you or any person on whose behalf you are acting, is in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.


  • We recommend that you carefully check the details which you have selected in particular, price, dates and the cancellation policy and any cancellation charges prior to proceeding to make your booking.
  • The booking can be made online following our online procedure or by telephone if booking six rooms or more. Please note that all calls may be recorded by us for training and monitoring purposes.
  • We will not take any payment from the credit card details you supply to us. Some Providers require a credit/debit card to guarantee your reservation. We will securely pass on your card details to the Provider using secure socket layer (SSL) technology and will process information in accordance with their terms. Any card data you supply will be treated in strict compliance with PCI and DSS standards. We respect your privacy and all information will be handled in accordance with the appropriate Data Protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.
  • The Provider may pre-authorise or charge your payment card dependent upon the type of rate you have booked. Advance purchase rates will usually be discounted, but are non refundable and paid in full at the time of booking and in the event of cancellation a 100% fee may be charged.
  • We will confirm your booking to you by email. By making the booking with us you agree to further communication to your contact details by email. You are also "opting in" to receive our marketing emails and requests for accommodation reviews, which may be displayed on our site, but without any of your name or contact details.


  • Please note that, we accept your order as agent only on behalf of the Provider. The resulting legal contract is between you and that Provider, and is subject to the terms and conditions of that Provider, which they will advise you of themselves. You should carefully review their terms and conditions which will apply to the transaction.


  • By making a booking on our site you enter into a contract with the Provider and accept in full the terms and conditions of the Provider's cancellation policy. It is your responsibility to check the cancellation policy before making any booking and this will be displayed in the hotel policies on the hotel page and also on each applicable rate, and our confirmation email.
  • Any cancellation must be made via the link provided in our confirmation email. Notification of cancellation by any other method is not valid or effective. The cancellation policy of the Provider as at the time of the booking will apply in full.
  • Any complaints or issues which you may have regarding your accommodation must be raised with the Provider who will deal with you directly to resolve matters.


  • We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you due to the misrepresentations, breach of statutory duty, negligence or breaches of contract of any of the Providers.
  • We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you for our failure to perform our obligations which is due to any event or circumstance outside our control, a force majeure event, for example but not limited to strikes, civil commotion, riot, pandemics, epidemics, natural catastrophes or other events that seriously effect both parties and other unforeseeable causes beyond our control.
  • These terms shall not operate to exclude or limit our liability for any fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.


  • If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.


  • We intend to rely upon these terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them in relation to our Services, statements and representations made by our duly authorised agents, please make sure you ask for any variations from these terms and conditions to be confirmed in writing.
